Everyone who works in Norway is entitled to get pay, regulated working hours and holiday.
HSE card for the cleaning and construction industry
If you work in the cleaning or construction industry you need an HSE card issued by the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority. Your employer is responsible for applying for this. Self-employed people must apply themselves.
Machine operator licence
In order to use your foreign Machine operator licence in Norway, you need permission from the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority.
Getting help from trade unions
If you have any questions about working conditions or pay you can get help from a trade union. Everyone who works in Norway, regardless of nationality, can join a trade union.
